Our Mission Is Unique

PPRM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that protects the rights of physicians and patients to access ethical and personalized medical care. It protects physicians from the overreach of state medical boards that compromise their ability to provide optimal medical care. It defends the rights of patients to access the healthcare of their choice without arbitrary third-party interference.

General mandates cannot provide the right treatment for every patient’s issues, as they do not take into account unique medical histories and individual needs. What is good for one person is not necessarily good for everyone. In fact, certain treatments may be quite harmful or unnecessary for some patients. Only the physician, with complete information, can evaluate what is best for the patient. Government officials or politicians are not substitutes for physicians.

We believe a physician’s advice and chosen treatment are necessary for a successful outcome to a patient’s health issues. However, physicians and patients are currently being threatened, censored, and controlled by pharmaceutical corporations, government agencies, and politicians. These adverse influences disrupt the physician-patient relationship and impede patient care.

We level the playing field by making it more difficult for the government to win unjust and capricious wars against doctors. A primary goal is to create a medical system in which people can obtain the care of their choice from doctors committed to ethical and personalized treatments.
